Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive your email address, display name, and profile image from your identity provider. We store this in our database so you can manage your redirects.
• Redirect data. Destination URLs, custom slugs, embed settings, passwords (stored as hashes), expiration rules, and other configuration you provide for your links.
• Click analytics. When someone visits your short link, we record technical and usage data such as timestamp, country, city, device type, browser, operating system, referrer, and query parameters attached to the link.
• Billing information. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, not your full payment card details.

What we do not store

We do not store raw IP addresses. Visitor IPs are hashed before use. Analytics are built from technical signals and aggregated data, not from directly identifying personal information about your link visitors.

How we use information

• Operate short links and redirect visitors to your configured destinations.
• Show analytics dashboards, filters, and reports to account holders.
• Detect bots, abuse, and fraudulent traffic through rate limiting and fraud scoring.
• Process subscriptions, enforce plan limits, and provide customer support.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the service.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Invite.bot, such as hosting, authentication, payments, and infrastructure partners, and only as needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Invite.bot and its users.

Data retention

Account and redirect data are kept while your account is active. Click analytics are retained to power reporting for your links. You may delete redirects from your dashboard, and you may request account deletion by contacting us.

Your choices

• You can update account details and redirect settings from your dashboard.
• You can pause or delete redirects you no longer want to use.
• You can manage billing and cancel paid subscriptions through the billing portal.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Invite.bot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
